Ski School

BUY SKI SCHOOL GROUP LESSONS FROM THE ONLINE STORE!

We offer group courses for adults and children. We use finnish and english as teaching languages. Private lessons are organized throughout the season and group courses from December 27, 2025 onwards.
Buy your place for group courses the day before by midnight. You can inquire about possible free course places at the ski school office.

The prices of children´s courses include lift access duing the lesson. The minimum number of participants in the courses is three people.
If the number of participants is lower, the ski school reserves the right to change the pricing to suit private lessons. If the course does not take place, it will be notified no later than the previous day.

Description

The Snowboard Werneri 1 beginners course is for beginners (over 6 years old) and no prior snowboarding experience is necessary. In the course, you get to know the equipment and practice the basic skills of snowboarding; controlled falling, slipping, turning and stopping on gentle slopes and using the ski lift.

Practical Information

The course runs for two days in a row.

Arrival

Please arrive at the location (Viitonen 1920, Siilinjärvi) approximately 30 minutes before the lesson begins.

Equipment Rental and Gear

The price for rental equipment for course participants is €10 per day. The use of a helmet is mandatory in the ski school's courses and lessons.

Bottom station of the main lift. The ski school's blue "meeting point" beach flag.

Course Realization

If the course is cancelled, the ski school will contact you no later than the preceding day. The minimum number of participants for a course is three people.

Cancellation Policy

The reservation can be cancelled free of charge 24 hours before the start of the lesson.
